There is a three-fold process involved when it comes to documents legalised for overseas used. Here is the breakdown:

1) Original documents have to first be verified and notarised by a Notary Public. There are cases where this step may not be required (E.g. Documents issued by the Singapore government).

2) After the documents are notarised, the next stage will be compulsory authentication at the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).

3) Lastly, the document will be submitted to the embassy/consulate of the country of intent (Eg. Embassy of the People's Republic of China) for further endorsement. You may consult us regarding your document and we can advise you further.
