1)The fees for notarial certificate and witnessing are fixed as stated in the First Schedule of the Notaries Public Rules.

2) With effect from 1 October 2019, it is mandatory by law for all notarised documents to be authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL). Fees are inclusive of GST.

3) With effect from 20 January 2021, legalisation of documents will be handled by Singapore Academy of Law (SAL). This function was previously held by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). Fees are inclusive of GST.

4) The cost will vary for embassy legalisation as the charges are set by the different embassies.

5) Embassies usually have express legalisation at double the price of the standard legalisation fees.
